Calgary downtown office market faces downturn

Depressed oil prices will curtail downtown office space activity in the coming months, says Colliers International in a new market report that indicates the fallout has already begun.

“The downtown office market faces a challenging environment as we move into 2015,” said Joe Binfet, managing director of Colliers International in Calgary. “Depressed oil prices have put a pause in the decision-making process for energy companies considering their space requirements.”
